Cancer Cancer 2025 Horoscope

Cancer Cancer 2025

2025 Overview

Cancer Horoscope
There is a lot happening this year and a lot of change and for those born under the sign of Cancer, that could ring warning bells. However, rest assured, this is change of the exciting kind with a mix of major new beginnings and an exciting year professionally without upsetting your work/life balance. If there was one year when you could have your cake and eat it too, this is it. As you move into the New Year Jupiter is not only still in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart but is in retrograde motion, with the final year of your current 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion well into its review mode. It is not until 4th February that Jupiter will turn direct and start heading back towards his return to Cancer on 10th June and the start of not just a new 12 year Jupiter cycle of expansion, but a lucky and expansive year full of the potential for major new beginnings.

By then a lot will have changed and especially on the professional landscape, though with a major effort underway first to get the most out of Saturn and Neptune’s final months in your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery. Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams who has been here since 2012 will leave on 31st March while Saturn, who has been here since March 2023 will leave on 25th May. While a parade of planets will not only move through between 3rd January and 17th May, but because of retrograde turns Venus and Mercury will both spend a considerable amount of time here. This is a chance to capture the spirit of adventure as Neptune returns to your career sector for the first time in three decades on 31st March and Saturn for the first time in three decades on 25th May.

They will both return to an adventurous part of your chart for a few months later in the year, but both will leave and return to your career sector in early 2026, Saturn to spend until April 2028 and Neptune until 2029. By early February things will be starting to move on the career front and will be in full swing by the end of March. This is something that Mars will be keen to exploit when after retrograding back out of your income sector on 6th January, he will return for a do over from 18th April to 17th June. This will provide some competition for Pluto, who after spending 2024 transitioning out of your relationship sector and into your financial sector is finally settled in and will be here until 2044. As the planet of change and transformation he is here to change things up and especially your relationship with money, but here for the next 20 years there is no pressure to reinvent the wheel overnight.

Love

Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of each year in your relationship sector, the solar spotlight is always on your relationships from the start. As you move into 2025 there will be a mix of the expected and the unexpected. The expected is that the solar spotlight is on your relationships and will be until the Sun leaves on 20th January. Not so much expected but not unusual is that while Venus, the planet of love moved through late last year and is no longer here, her influence can still be felt, giving you a sense of what you want from your relationships from the start. With Venus not returning until Christmas Day, this is something that needs to be held onto.

Held back by a retrograde phase Mercury was late to return to your relationship sector last year and will instead return from 8th January to 28th January to do what as the planet of communication he does best. Meanwhile, the unexpected is what is missing, as for the first time since 2008 you move into the New Year without Pluto, the planet of change, transformation and rebellion here. Pluto left in November 2024, and he won’t be back again in our lifetime, though after 16 years he has forever changed what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. This means that when Mercury leaves your relationship sector on 28th January it will remain empty until Mars returns on 15th December, returning to fire things up a week before the Sun comes full circle on 22nd December.

Mercury won’t return to your relationship sector again this year, making these early weeks important for getting the communication lines open. However, with Venus, the planet of love joining the Sun and Mars on 25th December, the year will end with a lot of focus on your relationships. Meanwhile, while you move into 2025 with no planetary activity in your romantic sector and Mars won’t return to begin the most romantically charged months of 2025 until 22nd December, this year the love gods have a secret weapon in the form of the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment, who returned for her first visit to your romantic sector in four years in November 2024. While Juno will leave on 20th February, she will retrograde back in again from 15th October to 1st October, giving you the resolve to keep the romantic flame burning.

Money

There is a word of warning as you move into 2025, for while there could be some financial tension this is not a sign that this is going to be a challenging financial year and instead, the very opposite. It will also be short lived, though will return for a few days in April and again at various points during the middle months of the year. You had a taste of this last year, when Pluto was beginning to transition into your financial sector but wasn’t ready to commit. Pluto was here when the Sun, Venus and Mercury returned for their annual visit to your income sector and they all clashed when they returned. By the time Mars returned to your income sector in November Pluto had left and while he returned a few weeks later, by then Mars had cleared the early degrees, where you are going to experience any financial tension.

Pluto will be at the early degrees of your financial sector for most of the year and here now until 2044, any planet that returns to your income sector will almost immediately clash with the planet of change, transformation and rebellion, but then it will be quickly over as they move on. Pluto will be a bouncer at the doors, reminding you that while you are entering some lucrative months, he is watching that you are also balancing money coming in and money going out. With Pluto here for the next 20 years, this is the start of a major period of financial growth and for taking your financial power back. While this could create some financial tension in the early days of the year, it is because that while Mars managed to avoid a clash with Pluto when he returned to your income sector in November, this is something he won’t be able to avoid as he retrogrades back out again on 6th January.

This will leave your income sector empty until Mars returns on 18th April and this will give you time to focus on money matters, as is always the case in the early months of any year. Venus, the planet of money begins the year in your financial sector but will leave on 3rd January, with the Sun here from 20th January to 18th January, Mercury from 28th January to 15th February and the dwarf planet Ceres, who began her first deep dive into your financial sector in four years will be leave on 24th February. Apart from the Moon’s monthly visits, this will leave Pluto on his own for the rest of the year and the focus then shifting to the long game. This means that when Mars returns to your income sector on 18th April, apart from a bit of pushback from Pluto when he first returns, will kick off the most lucrative months of 2024, which will run through to when Venus leaves on 19th September.

Business

As you move into the New Year and get your first look at 2025, first impressions will suggest that as far as professional years go it is business as usual. The dwarf planet Eris, the warrior planet of the cosmos is still in retrograde motion in your career sector, as is usually the case and while the Sun left your work sector just before Christmas, until he leaves on 8th January Mercury is still here, tying up the loose ends of some active months on the job front. Eris has been in your career sector for over nine decades and it is not unusual for the tail end of the previous year’s activity on the job front to spread into the early days or even weeks of the New Year. However, 2025 is a living example of the fact that you can’t judge a book by its cover, for despite first impressions this professional year will be anything but business as usual, with major change just three months away.

While Mercury will leave your work sector empty when he leaves, while not a major player the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment’s return from 20th February to 15th April will not only give you the resolve to stay on top of work and job matters, but during some of the most exciting months on the career front in decades. Juno will dip back in from 1st October to 30th December, this time just as things are about to fire up on the job front, starting with Mars’ return to your work sector on 5th November and then running through to the early days of 2026. However, it is on the career front that everything is happening this year, and it begins with Venus’ return to your career sector on 4th February. To start with there is nothing unusual about this, except instead of spending just 24 days fuelling your professional confidence, attracting opportunities and steering things in a lucrative direction, a retrograde turn will see her retrograde back out on 27th March, only to return for a do over from 1st May to 6th June.

Coincidently Mercury will do the same, returning on 3rd March for what should be a two-week chance to get your head in the game and to think on your feet, only to see him retrograde back out on 30th March and then return for a do over from 16th April to 11th May. What is it that makes two planets that will normally rush through in just a few weeks not only be reluctant to leave but return for a second time? Something big must be up that they are preparing you for. That something is Neptune, the planet of hopes and dream’s return to your career sector for the first time in our lifetime on 31st March, followed by Saturn’s return for the first time in three decades on 27th May, together giving you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes in order to turn professional dreams into reality. Saturn will retrograde back out on 1st September and Neptune on 22nd October but both will return in early 2026.
