While the big changes that began in 2025 will continue this year, these aren’t new changes and instead a continuation of the change that took place last year, which as far as the outer planets are concerned, will be complete and locked in place within the first four months of the year. This will bring to an end the biggest major reshuffling of the deck in our lifetime, which began in 2023 when Pluto, the planet of change and transformation began transitioning out of your income sector, where he had been since 2008 and into your communication sector, where he will remain until 2044. Pluto finished his transition into your communication sector less than six weeks before moving into 2025, when over the course of just a few months Uranus, Neptune and Saturn all left where they had been for years and started something new, before turning retrograde and coming back.
Neptune and Saturn both start 2026 in your home and family sector, where they had also begun 2025, though they are only back to tie up loose ends. Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams will leave again on 27th January, not to return again in our lifetime and Saturn on 14th February, not to return for another three decades. This is in the heart of the most active months of the year on the home front, with the faster planets having until 10th April to bring this chapter home. Meanwhile, this will see Neptune return to a playful and creative part of your chart where he will stay for the next 13 years and Saturn, who will remain here until 2028. This will have exciting implications while creating a heavy lean towards the playful, creative and adventurous side of life’s fence, when Jupiter returns to your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery on 30th June.
Not leaving until July 2027, Jupiter will work closely with Neptune and Saturn over that time. While Jupiter is not a major outer planet and the planet of luck and expansion is always going to change position at some point in the year, he will benefit from these outer shifts, and this includes his final months in your financial sector and of what he is working to make a big year for financial growth and expansion. The other outer planet on the move is Uranus, who after six years left your work sector and returned to your relationship sector in July 2025, only to return four months later. Uranus will leave again on 26th April, not to return to your work sector for another eight decades, while settling into your relationship sector, where he will spend the next six years, all of them with the support of Pluto in your communication sector.
Love
While Venus, the planet of love won’t spend any time in Sagittarius this year, as she only left on Christmas Day and sensing the big year ahead on the romantic and relationship fronts, you are likely to move into 2026 with high expectations on both fronts. This is anything but wishful thinking, for in 2025 the planets that are going to not only shape 2026 but for years to come all spent time in your romantic and relationship, laying down the foundations for what is to come. It began at the end of March 2025 when for the first time in 150 years Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned to your romantic sector, followed by Saturn for the first time in three decades at the end of May and then in July, Uranus returned to your relationship sector in July 2025.
All three are gone, but all with the promise that they will return and on top of the most active months of any year on the romantic and relationship fronts, they are returning to set up home. It will begin with Neptune’s return to your romantic sector on 27th January, where he will stay until 2039, followed by Saturn on 14th February, who until leaving in April 2028, will work with Neptune to give you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to turn dreams into reality. While it is not until 26th April that Uranus will return to your relationship sector, it will be to spend the next six years here. It is during this time that the most active months of the year on the romantic and relationship fronts will not only be playing out, but will overlap.
It begins with Venus, the planet of love’s return to your romantic sector on 6th March to begin what she will be working to make the most romantically charged weeks of any year, but to find Neptune and Saturn already here. This begins the most active months of the year on the romantic front, which while Venus will leave on 31st March, with the Sun here from 20th March to 20th April and Mercury from 15th April to 3rd May, will not only remain in safe hands, but with Mars firing things up when he moves through from 10th April to 19th May. By then Venus will have gotten things moving on the relationship front before Uranus returns, but moving through from 24th April to 19th May, with the planet of love here when he returns on 26th April. While by the time the Sun leaves on 21st June, he and Mercury, the planet of communication will have moved through, Mars will add his passion to the mix when he moves through from 29th June to 11th August.
Money
In their own way, both sides of the financial fence are not only holding their own this year, but in the early part of the year in particular, are providing the kind of competition that can keep things balanced while at the same time, each side is able to take its turn. Because the Sun will always spend the last 10 days and the first three weeks of each year in your income sector, the solar spotlight is always on the income side of the financial fence at the start of each year and even more so this year. It was a week before the Sun returned on the December solstice that Mars returned for his first visit to your income sector in two years and until leaving on 23rd December, he will be declaring war on income roadblocks and barriers, whether real or imagined.
Taking advantage of this will be Venus, who until leaving on 18th January will be working to get the year off to a lucrative start, in a way that only the planet of money, desire and attraction can. With the Sun leaving on 20th January and Mercury moving through from 2nd January to 21st January, the most active weeks of the year on the income front will all be packed into the first 23 days. Mars’ departure on 23rd January should end all planetary activity in your income sector for the year but instead, after working as a team to get the year off to a lucrative start, as the Sun and planets move on, they will leave a secret weapon behind.
That secret weapon is the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment, who returned to your income sector on 30th December and will leave on 29th March, but will then retrograde back in again from 12th August to 24th October. This will help you set and then stick to your income resolutions. Meanwhile, while the year is getting off to an active start on the income side of the financial fence, at the halfway point in his 12-month quest for financial growth and expansion, Jupiter is in retrograde motion in your financial sector and will be until turning direct on 11th March. Having given the income side of the financial fence a chance to have its turn and leaving on 30th June, this is when Jupiter will pull the focus back to the other side of the financial fence, where it is more on what you do with and how you manage the money you have. From Venus’ return on 19th May to Mars’ departure on 28th September, these will be the most active months of the year for money matters.
Business
The year might get off to a slow start, but this will work to your advantage, with nothing to be gained by rushing into things. Instead, the professional gods are dialling up a year that not only spreads things out evenly across 2026, but in a way that puts the focus on work and job matters in the first half of the year and on the career front in the second half. With Mars spending time in both camps, this is also helping to balance things out. The year begins, as has every other year since he returned in 2019 with Uranus, the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected in your work sector. However, for the last time for another eight decades, for once he turns direct on 5th February he will start making his way out, leaving on 26th April then not returning until April 2102.
However, Uranus will leave behind a legacy that he has helped you build over the last seven years, along with the support from the faster planets to both get the most out of his final months and keep the momentum going after he leaves. This will kick off with Venus’ return from 31st March to 24th April, something that during Uranus’ final weeks will have both the laws of attraction and synchronicity in effect. It is from 20th April to 20th May that the Sun will have the solar spotlight on your work situation, job matters and options, with Mercury making it easier to work smarter when he moves through from 3rd May to 17th May. However, it is when Mars moves through from 19th May to 29th June that you will have the busiest and most active months of the year on the job front.
This will end all planetary activity on the job front for the year, but Mars will take you right to the doorstep of the second half of the year, which is when the focus will shift onto a broader career landscape. Once again, it is Venus that will kick things off, with her return to your career sector from 10th July to 7th August. By this point in the year Venus will be racing ahead, so will have been and gone by the time the Sun returns from 23rd August to 23rd September and Mercury from 25th August to 11th September. It is also by this point in the year that slowing ahead of a retrograde turn, Mars will be lagging behind and won’t return until 26th November. It is here that Mars will turn retrograde on 11th January 2027, something that will see him retrograde back out on 22nd February, only to return again from 15th May to 15th July 2027. Mars isn’t just returning to end the year fuelling your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit, he is setting up camp.
